Hyground Consulting recognise the commercial and reputational implications that the reprographics service has on our clients, along with the technical and commercial complexity that prevails in the current supplier market. We are an independent specialist Reprographics consultancy focusing exclusively in this area. Our sole focus on Reprographics has enabled us to be at the forefront of technological advancements in this industry. We work closely with our clients’ Procurement and Operational teams to ensure they receive the best value for money service aligned to their business needs and requirements.

We have worked with many large corporations in this specialist field. We work closely with many of the major suppliers and manufacturers who we would expect to compete to provide you with the relevant products and services.

We also understand the complexity of the Facilities Management model whereby a variety of products and services are sometimes provided by a single supplier. An example of this is where Mailroom, Front of House and Reprographics are combined to maximise synergy savings. We conduct our audits in conjunction with many Facilities Management companies with much success.

We believe that we have accumulated the skills and expertise to support your business whether large or small to achieve a qualitative and value-for-money solution for all the areas included in the scope of your reprographics and or fleet service.

We have the capability to assess all aspects of your current operations and to identify solutions for consideration and finally to assist in implementing (if) any of the resulting changes.

Our independence in the market affords the optimum flexibility for both ourselves and our clients, thereby ensuring the most appropriate solutions are identified.
We propose to offer a menu of services in terms of the scope of our Audit and Review, including but not limited to, the following activities:

  • Giving you assurance that your costs are competitive by conducting a benchmarking exercise across a range of similar and peer organisations.
  • Giving you assurance that the appropriate quality of reprographics and printing equipment is being deployed to meet your qualitative requirements, by conducting a benchmarking exercise across a range of similar organisations and ensuring that optimum technology is deployed, by undertaking a machine utilization review
  • Reviewing the Service Level Agreements in force and benchmarking these against similar organizations to ensure that the service levels being received are in line with or exceed similar organizations.
  • Ensuring that your Printroom strategy enhances and compliments the strategy deployed for Multi Function Floor Copiers and Laser printers as well as the overall Document strategy.
  • Working with your procurement team to assist you to achieve the best value proposition with both existing and possible future Central printroom/Reprographic suppliers by assisting in specialist aspects of detailed negotiations
  • Identify synergies, such as leveraging existing resources in other Facilities Management areas such as Post Room, Front of House, Maintenance, etc.

To achieve the objectives, our proposal is to work with yourselves to obtain visibility of data which will enable us to conduct a comprehensive Audit and Review analysis and commence working on proposals that will enable you to make informed decisions.

Central reprographics, office technology and associated running costs can represent the third largest overhead after employees and real estate.

Suppliers of equipment, consumables, paper and services hide the true pricing in complicated servicing contracts and obscure facts by technology and pricing variables.

Decisions in this complex industry are made by busy procurement people and managers who do not have access to the latest industry benchmark data and technology developments.

This information gap, coupled with an astoundingly fast pace of technology advancement, means that there is a reliance on hardware suppliers who are not independent to provide solutions.

Together we can make a difference! Let’s combine our expertise
